Buchanan, a Coordinator at a Florida Civil Defense Headquarters, sent from the Department of the Army. The box has kept this luminescent sign in great near mint condition with the only issue being a bend at one corner.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe box shows very heavy wear and is really only included to give period context to this sign and why it is in such great shape. It makes for an exciting research project.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe sign itself measures 10 x 14” and is the classic sign, designed in 1961 by the United States Army Corps of Engineers director of administrative logistics support function Robert W. Blakeley.
