It is an American assembled percussion fowling piece, made for a boy of maybe ten or twelve years old. The barrel, which we think is .60 Caliber is stamped \u003cstrong\u003eLONDON\u003c\/strong\u003e. The lock is marked \u003cstrong\u003eBOWN \u0026amp; TETLEY \/ PITTSBURGH\u003c\/strong\u003e, a family business that operated for most of the 1800 hundreds.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe gun measures 40 1\/2\" overall with the barrel only 27 1\/2\" in length, with a bore of about .60\" \/ 22 gauge. It features a brass Butt plate, ram rod pipe and trigger guard that has its rear portion of about an inch missing. The stock is quite small, and clearly intended for a child.
