Original Item: One-of-a-kind. This is a fine example of totally original Modle M35 M-1935 German WW2 large size 64 helmet shell. The shell is stamped EF64 indication it was manufactured by Emaillerwerke in Fulda, Germany with batch number 20745 stamped into the rear apron. 64 Is a nice large size that can accommodate liners from 56cm to 59cm or US 7 to 7 3/8. Size 64 shells are always hard to find and are therefore more valuable to a collector.
What does refurbished mean? While the shell is 100% genuine WWII manufacture. However, the paint, decal, liner, chinstrap, wire and net are all new and the helmet has been refurbished to look as if it was picked up off a dune in Normandy by a USGI and brought home as a war trophy.
This helmet is one-of-a-kind there will never be one exactly like it making it a true collectors piece that will do nothing but appreciate in value in the coming years.
