Item Description
Original Item. Only One Available. The RPG-76 Komar (Mosquito in English) is a disposable one-shot anti-tank grenade launcher that fires an unguided anti-tank rocket-propelled grenade. The weapon was designed as a smaller and lighter alternative to the RPG-7, especially for use by airborne troops. Thanks to jet nozzles located between the warhead and the fuel compartment, it can be fired from inside of a building or a vehicle. Like all deactivated ordnance, this flare is Not Available for Export.
This is a great example of an RPG-76 Komar, a Cold War era single-use launcher which is still in use today, having been used in the 2022 Russian Invasion of the Ukraine. This example is stamped on the side:
96 RPG-76
4-87-406
This example is likely dated 1987, and still retains its original collapsible shoulder stock. There are still instruction labels on the side as well, with a yellow label translating to HOLD YOUR HAND HERE. The launcher also includes its original sling.
The launcher measures 15½” when collapsed, and 30½” with the stock extended. A great example of a very scarce launcher, ready for further research and display!
