Original Item: Only One Available. This is a wonderful example of a North Korean Type 68 (AKM Variant) rifle bayonet, complete with original scabbard. The North Korean AKM bayonet comes from the typical AKM bayonet patterns used by most countries. It is a hybrid of sorts, retaining many of the features of the AK47 bayonet, with a different pommel to allow mounting to the AKM.
The fullered clip-point blade is also a hybrid of the AK47 and AKM designs. It has brown bakelite grip scales. The bayonet comes complete with steel scabbard with green web belt hanger and leather hilt strap.
The overall condition is quite nice with a great patina of age. There is no significant damage present though there are signs of faith service use.
A lovely example ready for further research and display.
