Silva stenciled his name \u0026amp; unit along with a travel diary of the cities\/towns in Japan that he visited there.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe flag measures \u003cstrong\u003e26½ x 36\u003c\/strong\u003e”, and looks to be made from silk or rayon, and is in fair shape with the two silver corner reinforcements still intact with their ropes, though there is wear. The body of the flag is white, with a red \"sun round\" dyed into the middle. The flag is in very good condition which makes sense as this was not a battlefield-captured flag but instead a flag signed by men during the Occupation of Japan. It has the expected age toning, and areas where the fabric has torn due to wear.
