This is a wonderful example of the classic Japanese Type 92 Tetsubo (鉄帽 - \"steel cap\") army helmet, also colloquially called the tetsukabuto ( 鉄 冑 \"steel helmet\") by Japanese troops. The liner is dated \"昭 18\" indicating that the Helmet was manufactured during the Showa 18th year, or 1942. This would make a perfect representative example for the collector seeking a complete, all original, WWII Japanese Combat Helmet.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eFeatures include\u003c\/strong\u003e:- Original metal star liner split pin applied to front.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e- Lightly worn hree tongue leather liner. The reverse side of the liner tongues have small pouches for padding, and the front pad is marked with the depot stamp and date, \u003cstrong\u003e昭 18\u003c\/strong\u003e.
