The blade shows some staining and oxidation, though the bluing has been mostly retained. The hilt is in good shape as well, with very nice wooden grip scales, and a fully functional bayonet latch.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis bayonet was manufactured between 1935 and 1942 by \u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eMatsushita Kinzoku KK\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e, under Kokura Arsenal Supervision. Matsushita Metalworking Corp was part of the Matsushita National Denki (Electric Corp.). Surviving group members now make electronics under the National and Panasonic brands.
