The pistol is constructed primarily from heavy-duty ABS plastic with some steel components and was designed solely for cap plug operation. The barrel is permanently plugged and contains an internal horizontal obstruction. The components are not interchangeable with those of a live Browning Hi-Power, and the model cannot be converted to fire live ammunition.

There are no plugs and caps present, as they were used and lost by previous owners, however, it is still easy to find replacements!

One side is marked with replicated markings:

D’ARMES DE GUERRE
HERSTAL BELGIQUE
PATENT DEPOSE

And on the other side:
0155 MFG. It was based on a design by American firearms inventor John Browning, and completed by Dieudonné Saive at FN Herstal. Browning died in 1926, several years before the design was finalized. FN Herstal named it the "High Power" in allusion to the 13-round magazine capacity, almost twice that of other designs at the time, such as the Walther P38 or Colt M1911. The Hi-Power was the only 9mm semi-automatic pistol available with a double-stack detachable box magazine from 1935 until the introduction of the 15-round MAB PA-15 in 1966.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1524/1342/files/ONJR26JUGC017__01_3ac26697-d2fc-4812-96c7-411baec3d618.jpg?v=1792433045
https://www.ima-usa.com/products/original-japanese-marushin-industry-p-35-browning-hi-power-full-scale-cap-plug-firing-pistol
