The set consists of a 24 ½” x 29 ½” National Flag constructed of what appears to be cotton with the center “meatball” its own separate piece of cotton. The set features the original box with the “ball” flagpole topper.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt looks like this set of flags was meant to be flown on special days or holidays, and the lid to the case has three Kanji characters which are now too worn to read, under the Japanese national flag. The closure for the box is broken as the loop for the hook is missing. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis is a wonderful set and in great condition for the age.
