This is an interesting eight-piece grouping of German WWII Wehrmacht field equipment and accessories, consisting of two K98k ammunition pouches, a mounted-pattern bayonet frog, K98k leather rifle sling, Daimon Telko flashlight, Schießbecher grenade-launcher carrying case, HRE 43 “coconut” canteen, and a later postwar Welmy 6×6 camera in its leather case. The wartime equipment shows substantial service wear and age, while several pieces retain useful maker, date, and issue markings. The camera is a later Japanese-made item and should be considered an associated postwar addition.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe items in this lot:\u003cbr\u003e- x2 Mauser 98k Triple Pouches: These are very nice German WWII issue black pebble-grain leather triple Patronentaschen (ammunition pouch), designed to hold stripper clips for the Mauser k98K rifle. This was the standard German infantry rifle throughout WWII for all forces, even the Kriegsmarine \/ Navy. These pouches would be attached to the waist belt, and would be attached to combat suspenders using the rings on the back. Each pocket holds two stripper clips of 5 rounds, so each pouch holds 6 clips, or 30 rounds. Both are in great condition and have markings present. One set has an \u003cb\u003eRBNr \u003c\/b\u003enumber while the other is dated \u003cb\u003e1941\u003c\/b\u003e, made by\u003cb\u003e Hans Romer of Neu-Ulm.\u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e- Original German WWII Leather Mounted Pattern Bayonet Frog with Securing Loop. Very heavy wear but the strap is retained somehow. Heavy wear to the leather across. Very faint maker’s mark on back, dated \u003cb\u003e1936 \u003c\/b\u003efor a maker in \u003cb\u003eNeu-Ulm.\u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e- German WWII Karabiner 98 kurz K98k Leather Sling, very heavy wear and crazing to leather, but still solid with leather keeper, but missing keeper at end.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e- \u003cb\u003eDAIMON TELKO\u003c\/b\u003e Soldier’s flashlight with light bulb still in place. No battery and not functional. Lots of oxidation and retains a paper tag showing it was presented to Mary A. Wilber on April 1st, 1950.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e- German WWII Schießbecher Grenade Launcher Leather Case marked \u003cb\u003ecxb \/ 43\u003c\/b\u003e for 1943 manufacture by Moll, Lederwarenfabrik, in Goch, Germany. No strap, heavily worn.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e- WWII Afrikakorps Coconut canteen, marked HRE 43 for Ritter. Straps show very heavy wear and use, a very attractive “been-there” example.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e- Welmy 6 x 6 camera in original leather carry case. Strap is retained and camera has a great look. Lens comes out without issue. Camera lens is made by Nariko of Japan, a great import piece. This model of camera is post-war but will still look good in a wartime display.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOverall, the wartime field gear remains in attractive service-used condition without catastrophic damage, although several individual pieces show substantial leather deterioration, oxidation, missing components, or heavy wear.
