This is a very nice service worn WWII German Wehrmacht Heer (Army) EM\/NCO's Belt with Steel Buckle (\u003cem\u003eKoppelschloß\u003c\/em\u003e). The buckle is embossed with the Heer motto \u003cstrong\u003eGOTT MIT UNS\u003c\/strong\u003e (\"God with us\") surrounding a NSDAP Party Eagle. Nice fieldgrey painted steel construction box buckle with a smooth background. The buckle is in good condition, with probably 60% of the original paint present, with the expected wear and oxidation.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe belt is marked \u003cstrong\u003eH.A. \/ 41\u003c\/strong\u003e by the retaining loop, indicating manufacture by Hermann Aurich of Dresden, Germany. As it was made in 1941, this buckle most likely never had a leather tab, as they were removed from the official design in that year.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe thick leather belt is in good condition, and is marked \u003cstrong\u003e5 41 F.U.\u003c\/strong\u003e on the leather, and \u003cstrong\u003eL\u0026amp;F\u003c\/strong\u003e on the clip. The belt has definitely been shortened by about 5 inches, and now measures about 33” when fully extended, the buckle end is stamped 95 on the buckle end, indicating a size of 95cm \/ 37.4 inches.
