All were manufactured in Switzerland for Hegar.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWriting on the box roughly translates to \u003cem\u003eThese high-quality Swiss Stumps are made from selected and best suited raw tobaccos and of outstanding mild quality.\u003c\/em\u003e Usually due to the usage of the word Pfennig there is no direct association to the Third Reich, however, in the on the left hand corner of the box there is a \u003cstrong\u003eThird Reich Tax Revenue Stamp\u003c\/strong\u003e proving that these were indeed manufactured during the wartime period and imported to Germany. The stamp has an embossed \u003cstrong\u003eEagle and Swas\u003c\/strong\u003e, and reads \u003cem\u003eRPF\u003c\/em\u003e, better known as Reich Pfennig which were the coins used in league with Reich Marks.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThese were brought back by a USGI after the war, put away and never opened, not even for a much needed smoke!
