It is referred to as “The SS Calls on You”. The booklet is dated 1942 and is in good overall condition, with a large portion of the pages disconnected at the seam.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis is a rare and desirable Waffen-SS Recruitment Booklet containing details about the interior organization of the Waffen-SS, possible career possibilities within the SS (with basic position requirements), as well as an application form.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt was intended for the recruitment of boys and young men into the SS, and is divided into two parts – the first part is about the structure and tasks of the SS – with encouraging words of AH, the Oath of the SS, career possibilities and their respective requirements (age, academics, etc) as well as their duties and promotional opportunities, notes to the parents of potential applicants, and an application form – the second part contains stories of SS members during the war, with multiple wartime photographs and illustrations.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe booklet is 94 pages long and has heavy wear to the cover with many small tears throughout the pages. Still a good example of a now extremely scarce book.
