It includes nice variety of Police Insignia, as well as some things that we have never seen before!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis lovely set includes:\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e- One embroidered German WWII S\u003cem\u003echutzpolizei NCO\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cspan\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e \u003cem\u003eÄrmelhoheitsabzeichen\u003c\/em\u003e (Protection Police Arm Eagle Insignia).\u003c\/strong\u003e The badge features a charcoal gray wool background with Police \u003cem\u003eHellgrün\u003c\/em\u003e (light green) rayon\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e embroidery, the correct \u003cem\u003eTruppenfarbe\u003c\/em\u003e (troop color) for the protection police (Schupo). In November 1941, all Police Sleeve Eagles could cease to have district markings, so this was made afterwards. This example is made from wool felt and definitely looks to have been installed on a uniform before, as indicated by the stitch markings and stitching around the edge. It shows some tearing of the edges, and the front edge is a bit stained and worn.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e- One German WWII Schutzpolizei Protection Police NCO Meister Shoulder Strap\u003c\/strong\u003e, sew-in style. It is bordered with a single row of of fine silver flatware \"Russia Braid\" double piping around the edge, with brown chevrons woven into the design. Inside this is a braid of brown double piping woven together with the silver double piping with the same brown chevrons, giving them a lovely look. The base is the correct \u003cspan\u003e\u003cem\u003eHellgrün\u003c\/em\u003e (light green) wool, which does show some moth damage. \u003cem\u003eMeister\u003c\/em\u003e (Master), or Warrant Officer, is highest NCO rank in the police, which did not have an armed forces equivalent, but was higher than an army \u003cem\u003eOberfeldwebel\u003c\/em\u003e (Master Sergeant).\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e- One PAIR of German WWII Polizei NCO Wachtmeister Shoulder Straps\u003c\/strong\u003e, unidentified branch. It is bordered with a single row of of fine silver flatware \"Russia Braid\" double piping around the edge, open at the end, with black chevrons woven into the design. Inside this is a row of earth brown double piping, and they have a \u003cem\u003eKarminrot \u003c\/em\u003e(carmine red) base and bottom strap. As the outer row of braid is open at the end, this is a shoulderboard for the police rank of \u003cem\u003eWachtmeister\u003c\/em\u003e (Watch master), equivalent to an SS-Unterscharführer or U.S. Army Technical Sergeant. These have navy blue bases and straps, which is not a troop color we are familiar with.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e- One German WWII Zollgrenzschutz (Customs Border Guard) shoulderboard,\u003c\/strong\u003e button attached style. It has a row of half green half bullion double piping around the edge, with another row inside of Russia-braid with green chevrons. There is a single gold rank pip near the end, though we do not know what rank this signifies in the border guards.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e- One German WWII Police Shako Wappen Front Plate Insignia\u003c\/strong\u003e, made from stamped and silvered zinc alloy. It has lost some of the original curve, and now shows an overall oxidized patina on both sides, with a few areas where the original silvering is still retained. One of the threaded posts on the back has broken off.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e- One German WWII Police Visor Cap Stamped Aluminum Eagle Insignia.
