These were used by \"Pioneer\" troops to mark the locations of mines and possibly contaminated areas. Additionally there is a front pouch, which could be used to carry roll of yellow cloth tape used to isolate dangerous areas, and this example does retain the roll.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis bag comes with 16 flag poles, all of which still have their signs attached. They all show wear, and some have had the fittings fall off or become loose. The remaining flags are all stained and worn. The design of the poles is somewhat unique, and allows poles to be combined to make a longer pole when needed for high grass.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe olive colored canvas long carry bag, which has a faint ink stamp under the top flap, has a buckle and canvas strap for closure and is complete with shoulder sling.
