Krumpholz of Durrenwaiderhammer \/ Bayern\u003c\/em\u003e, a known toolmaker which is still manufacturing tools to this day. The head appears to have been repainted. These tools were used by Artillery units and often seen attached to WW2 German Tanks. A very unique classic German WW2 design; see \u003cem\u003e\"Uniforms and Tradition of the German Army 1933-1945\"\u003c\/em\u003e by Angolia and Schlicht, page 191 (photo).\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe pickaxe has a 36 ¾” long shaft with a pick that has a 16 ¾” length.
