It does however still show the faint German three letter code \u003cstrong\u003ecey\u003c\/strong\u003e, for manufacture by \u003cem\u003eKarl Budischovsky \u0026amp; Söhne, Oesterreichische Lederindustrie AG\u003c\/em\u003e (Austrian Leather Industry Co.) located in Wien (Vienna), Austria. This company company manufactured holsters for the P.08 and other service pistols, as well as other leather wares, according to \u003cem\u003eGERMAN MILITARY LETTER CODES 1939-1945\u003c\/em\u003e by John Walter. It is also marked with a partial \u003cem\u003eWaffenamt\u003c\/em\u003e Eagle proof, however we cannot read the inspector number.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe overall condition of the holster is very good, with brown dyed leather that is a bit stiff and intact heavy stitching, original loops, and pistol ejection strap. The original flap securing strap and buckle are present and in functional condition, however the stitching on the strap is rotting out. Both belt loops are intact and complete.
