Item Description
Original Items: Only One Available. Genuine set of four Floreloid brand natural bristle hairbrushes with a small metal swass nailed to each wooden handle. This style was marketed as a military hair brush with a sterling silver decorative crest mounted on the handle. The product was popular in the United States at the beginning of the 20th century.
Original black fiberboard case measures 8" x 9" x 2.5" and contains four brushes each resting in a maroon fabric pocket. The brushes vary in shape and size between 5-6 inches in length. Overall condition of the brushes is very good, the case top is loose along three sides but holds.
A very interesting military officer's private purchase set of personal grooming. Of particular note is that an identical single brush is past of the permanent collection of the United States Shoah Memorial Museum and can be seen at this link.
