AH rapidly established a totalitarian regime known as the Third Reich.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis type of armband was worn by party members on the sleeves of their overcoats, and was thinner and longer for that reason. It is in very good condition, with the colors vibrant and showing just a few small holes. These were made in long strips, and cut off as needed, though we do not know if the edge hems were usually applied before or after cutting. It measures approximately 18\" x 2\", with the ends still loose. It is made from cotton with the insignia printed onto the outside.
