Original German WWII NSDAP National Socialist Vehicle Staff Pennant Flag

Item Description

Original Item: Only One Available. This is a very good example of a WWII German NSDAP National Flag Car / Automobile / Vehicle Wimpel (Pennant), which would be flown on a small staff attached to the fender of the automobile or other vehicle it was attached to. It is double sided and is of multi-piece cotton construction with heavy tight stitching. Design is the standard red field with a white circle bearing the NSDAP Swas (Hook Cross).

The pennant shows light use and some staining, and the original RZM paper tag is gone, with only a bit of the backing remaining. The pennant measures approximately 7 5/8 inches in hoist and 13 1/4 inches in fly, with brass hanging rings attached at the top and bottom corners.

Highly impressive and loaded with eye appeal, this is sure to make a great addition to any collection!

The National Socialist German Workers' Party (Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei, abbreviated NSDAP), commonly known in English as the NSDAP Party, was a political party in Germany between 1919 and 1945. It was known as the German Workers' Party (DAP) before the name was changed in 1920.

The party's last leader, Adolf AH, was appointed Chancellor of Germany by president Paul von Hindenburg in 1933. AH rapidly established a totalitarian regime known as the Third Reich.
