This is a very good condition WWII German National Banner, which measures a large 92 inches long by 44 inches wide, or 7.7 ft. by 3.7 ft. These were used inside buildings, or possibly on podiums during speeches. It is of all cotton construction, and features a large red field which is made from two pieces of material, stitched together, only seen on these larger examples. The banner is double sided with a single piece cotton white circles with dyed black \u003cem\u003eSwasses\u003c\/em\u003e (Hook Crosses) sewn onto both sides.\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eCondition is very good, with some small tears in areas, as well as some small holes which may be due to insect damage. There is also some speckled staining in areas from long storage. The colors are very well retained, with minimal age toning to the white circles, and a vibrant red field.
