It has an embellished \u003cem\u003eSwas \u003c\/em\u003e(swas) in the center of the field, with the German \u003cem\u003eReichsadler\u003c\/em\u003e (National Eagle) in the upper left corner or canton. It has a thick halyard sewn into the header, with loops at either end.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe header is marked with the \u003cstrong\u003eReichsadler \/ M\u003c\/strong\u003e proof, indicating that it was issued to the German Kriegsmarine Navy. The flag may have been used for small launches when being used for negotiations and diplomacy. Next to this it is marked \u003cstrong\u003eReichsddflg. 0.50 x 0.85\u003c\/strong\u003e, indicating it is a 50 x 85 cm State Service flag.
