This right and left side pair would be attached to the collar of a Hauptgemeinschaftsleiter (Head Community Leader) member of the NSDAP to indicate their position within the organization. The tabs are parallelograms with sides measuring approximately 2 1\/2\" x 1 3\/4\". They are made with a golden brown velvet material over a buckram stiffener, and have white piping around the outside, correct for \u003cem\u003eKreis\u003c\/em\u003e (District) level.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEach has a right facing metal \u003cem\u003eReichsadler\u003c\/em\u003e (National Eagle) at the top, over four metal \"pips\" in the center, with two stripes at the bottom. The metal insignia were originally all gilt, however time has led the Alloy to oxidize completely, losing almost all of the gilding and now displaying a verdigris patina. The back of one tab has an \u003cstrong\u003eRZM\u003c\/strong\u003e label with the correct \"B\" tax code, which also gives the \u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eHersteller\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e (supplier) designation \u003cstrong\u003eA4 21\u003c\/strong\u003e over production \u003cstrong\u003eNo. 066685\u003c\/strong\u003e.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eCondition is good, showing significant wear to the piping on both, so we assume that this set was attached to a uniform at some point, and later removed, possibly during post war De-NSDAPification.
