This is a very nice condition genuine steel construction M34 Civic \"Square Dip\" Third Reich helmet, outfitted for German WW2 \u003cem\u003eSchutzpolizei\u003c\/em\u003e (Protection Police) issue. It features genuine double decals of Civic Police \u003cem\u003eReichsadler\u003c\/em\u003e (National Eagle) and NSDAP swas (hook cross). These helmets were used by both the regular protection police, as well as the fire protection police. The exterior of the helmet is painted with early war \"Apple Green\" instead of the usual black, and the paint is well retained, with some wear from service. The NSDAP and civic eagle decals are both retained at about 80%, with some wear and flaking.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe helmet comes with a complete leather liner attached with cork spacers, with all four hollow attachment pins\/rivets present. The liner is completely intact with very little deterioration and is still soft. The chinstrap is complete with all buckles and latches in good condition although the leather has deteriorated slightly and has cracked due to age.
