They also were modified slightly having holes drilled in the ends of the knife, fork, and spoon, probably so they could be hung up on a wall.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAll of the components are stamped with the \u003cem\u003eHeer Wehrmachtadler\u003c\/em\u003e (Armed Forces Eagle), indicating that they are \u003cem\u003eEigentum der Wehrmacht\u003c\/em\u003e (Property of the Wehrmacht). The can opener, fork, and spoon are marker marked with \u003cstrong\u003eGAG\u003c\/strong\u003e in a rectangle, the marking of \u003cem\u003eGustav Auerswald, Besteckfabrik\u003c\/em\u003e (Cutlery Factory), located in \u003cem\u003eGrünhain, Saxony\u003c\/em\u003e. Next to this marking are dates, with \u003cstrong\u003e41\u003c\/strong\u003e on the spoon and \u003cstrong\u003e42\u003c\/strong\u003e on the other two marked pieces.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAll components are in very good service used condition, with some components showing the original factory polish intact.
