Here we have a very interesting German WWII Luftwaffe radio operator's clock by Junghans, which is mounted in a wooden case with fold out metal legs on the bottom. We have found other examples, sometimes marked on the face with Luftwaffe stock number FL25591. This example is non-functional, and has the JUNGHANS star logo on the back of the clock, viewed by "opening" the case. This also shows the inside rear of the assembly, which still has the complete Lutwaffe contract information, which reads:

Eigentum der Luftwaffe
Betriebsuhr
Bauart. We have also seen these referred to as "stationsuhr" (station clock) and "funkraumuhr" (radio room clock).

The housing is in very good shape, still retaining a lot of the Luftwaffe blue paint, though it has flaked off of much of the top. Both legs fold out well and stay in place, and the clock still correctly folds out and locks closed with a small spring. The clock itself has had the hands degrade somewhat, with the metal interior flaking away, and the seconds hand is completely missing. We do not know how badly damaged the internal works are.

These are apparently somewhat hard to find, being that many were taken home and used as clocks.
