This is a good condition WWII German Wehrmacht Luftwaffe EM\/NCO's Belt Buckle (\u003cem\u003eKoppelschloß\u003c\/em\u003e), with the correct black leather belt. The buckle is embossed with the wartime Luftwaffe straight tail eagle on a pebbled central field, surrounded by a wreath. The buckle is of 1940 pattern, die stamped, steel construction, with a dark blue\/grey painted finish, which is still present on over 95% of the buckle exterior. The interior also retains a lot of the paint, but does show some spots of oxidation. The buckle does not have a maker mark inside, and there is no leather maker tab.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe belt itself measures about 40” when fully extended, and is in very good condition, showing moderate wear to the exterior. It still has the leather tab with a double row of 7 holes for attaching the buckle and size adjustment, and a steel attachment clip on the other end.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOverall a very nice example of a lightly used used wartime issue Luftwaffe Belt and Buckle.
