This is a very nice WWII German Wehrmacht Luftwaffe EM\/NCO's Belt Buckle (Koppelschloß) with correct leather belt. It is embossed with the wartime Luftwaffe straight tail eagle. Nice aluminum construction box buckle with a pebbled background. The buckle is in very good condition, with all the pebbling in good condition, and most of the detail in the eagle present.  There are no markings on the buckle itself, but the leather pull tab is clearly dated \u003cstrong\u003e1938 \u003c\/strong\u003ein a manufacturer's stamp, though the maker name is not legible. The location seems to be\u003cstrong\u003e LUDENSCHEID, \u003c\/strong\u003ewhere many companies that made these buckles were based.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ccenter\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/center\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe belt itself measures 41” when fully extended, and is marked \u003cstrong\u003e105\u003c\/strong\u003e on the buckle end. The leather is definitely worn, but condition is solid with no holes or tears, and leather is soft and pliable.
