The projectile is detachable from the shell and is a tad bit loose in the shell. The fuze of the projectile is marked \u003cstrong\u003e22 (Waffenamt) 2cm Kpf. Z.45 foz 42.\u003c\/strong\u003e The yellow is marked \u003cstrong\u003ewa37 c 42 W\u003c\/strong\u003e. The bottom of the shell is marked \u003cstrong\u003eeeo 953 44 Waffenamt\u003c\/strong\u003e. The shell is in fair shape with some flaws but overall a great piece. Measures approximately 8 inches long.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe Flak 38 gun was used singularly or in the Quad Vierling 38 mount as an anti-aircraft weapon. The brass cartridge case is percussion primed and retains most of the original lacquer.
