Original Item. Only One Available. This is only the second time we have offered one of these! This is a very good condition German WWII Civilian’s gas mask and filter in the original box. All components have their correct German WWII inspection stamps. The components are all contained in their original cardboard issue box, which have faint embossed markings.
The mask is stamped on the interior with Waffenamt Stamp WaA104 along with some other number stamps. The lenses are marked Auer 42 for manufacture by Auer-Gesellschaft AG, Werk Oranienburg outside of Berlin in 1942. This company manufactured many gas masks during the war, as well as components for other companies.
The filter is stamped with Waffenamt stamp WaA104 along with other number stamps. It still screws onto the mask without issue, but it does show some denting. The original manual is still in the box, providing several diagrams for its use.
The original box measures 10 x 7 x 2”. Comes ready for further research and display.
