He is interestingly wearing an SS Totenkopf Skull Badge on his shirt’s tie, a strange decision that has left us quite puzzled.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHis shoulder straps denote an enlisted man, and the helmet badge certainly denotes that he is in the Heer, which is what makes the SS badge particularly confusing. This would be a great research project for someone.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe frame is modern and measures 17⅛ x 20⅛”.
