It is embossed with the wartime Luftwaffe straight tail eagle inside a laurel wreath on the front. A very nice injection molded aluminum construction box buckle with a pebbled background. The buckle is in very good condition, with all the pebbling in good condition, and most of the detail in the eagle present.  The buckle is marked with an interlocking \u003cstrong\u003eP u C in a diamond\u003c\/strong\u003e, for maker \u003cem\u003ePaulmann \u0026amp; Crone of Lüdenscheid\u003c\/em\u003e, a city with large garment accessories industry.\u003cspan\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe belt itself measures about 36” from end to end, made from thick leather with the standard leather tab with 7 pairs of holes attached to it for size adjustment. It is marked with \u003cstrong\u003e90\u003c\/strong\u003e on the buckle end for 90cm (35.43 in.) so it may have stretched just a bit. \u003cspan style=\"font-size: 0.875rem;\"\u003eThe leather is definitely worn, but condition is solid with no holes or tears, and leather is soft and pliable.
