Unfortunately there are no names or units mentioned, but it still makes a wonderful piece!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe National Socialist German Workers' Party (\u003cem\u003eNationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei\u003c\/em\u003e, abbreviated NSDAP), commonly known in English as the NSDAP Party, was a political party in Germany between 1919 and 1945. It was known as the German Workers' Party (DAP) before the name was changed in 1920. The party's last leader, Adolf AH, was appointed Chancellor of Germany by president Paul von Hindenburg in 1933. AH rapidly established a totalitarian regime known as the Third Reich.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe banner is double sided and of multi-piece construction, each side bearing a black \u003cem\u003eswas\u003c\/em\u003e (hook cross) printed onto a white canvas circle (one piece) stitched onto the red cotton background. This banner is a simplified design, so there is no white border around the central circle, and there is a fringe on the bottom, which feels like rayon. It measures 31\" x 22\", not counting the fringe on the bottom. There are small canvas ties at the top for attaching it, which look to have been added post manufacture when it was first used.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe banner is offered in lovely matured condition, showing staining and age toning from use.
