It has also been fitted with a very nice Heer 98K dress bayonet by Ernst Pack \u0026amp; Söhne, complete with the correct black leather frog and NCO Troddel knot. A very nice NCO belt set!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe buckle is embossed with the Heer motto \u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eGOTT MIT UNS\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e (\"God (is) with us\") around the Wehrmacht Reichsadler (State Eagle). Nice aluminum construction box buckle with a pebbled background. The buckle is in good condition, and is a two piece example with a clip attached front insignia. It does show some light surface wear, common due to the softer aluminum alloy. It does not look to have been painted at any time, and there are no maker marks on the back.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe leather belt is in very good condition, and measures about 37” when fully extended. It does look to have been cut down and re-stitched a bit during its service life, so it was most likely a bit longer at one point.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe included dress bayonet is in great shape, with nearly 100% nickel plating, with just light runner wear on the blade. The scabbard and frog are in very good condition as well, as is the attached green and silver bullion NCO Troddel knot, tied around the frog.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe rear ricasso of the blade is stamped with the trademark logo of\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eErnst Pack \u0026amp; Söhne\u003c\/strong\u003e. They mostly made daggers so there is not as much information regarding the bayonets.
