The award has lost all of the bronze wash, now displaying a patinated look to the alloy body. The ribbon is in very good shape, and we were not able to see any maker information on the hanger ring.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e- One German WWII SA-Wehrmannschaft Defense Team Sports Training Badge in Gold Grade by Bonner Kunstabzeichen Bedarf Fabrik:\u003c\/strong\u003e Known in German as the \u003cem\u003esportabzeichen\u003c\/em\u003e, these were awarded to members of the SA for athletic achievement during the annual sports festivals. These were all part of a larger SA-Wehrmannschaft program, intended to train members of the SA for local defense if needed. This example is marked on the back with issue number \u003cstrong\u003e151908\u003c\/strong\u003e.
