In heavily-used condition, this knife has an all-wood grip with hatching secured by two pins. The blade is single edged but has been heavily sharpened and its profile changed by the soldier who carried it.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe blade is faintly stamped \u003cstrong\u003e1914 FELDZUG 1915\u003c\/strong\u003e (\u003cem\u003e1914 Campaign 1915\u003c\/em\u003e), the first time we’ve ever seen something like this. This would denote the knife having been used in 1915. The knife comes in an original rolled steel World War One scabbard with a very fragile leather belt loop which is now missing the securing strap and snap.
