Haußer was well known for producing military themed toys, vehicles, figures, and artillery pieces, many with colorful lithographed finishes.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eAll three examples are constructed from tinplate steel and feature printed camouflage decoration. The lithographed finishes remain surprisingly strong overall, giving the group a very appealing period appearance.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe lot includes three different artillery pieces.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe first is a \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cspan\u003ecamouflaged artillery piece mounted on a stand\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cspan\u003e with adjustable elevation. It appears to have originally incorporated a spring or firing mechanism capable of launching a small projectile, although the related components are now heavily oxidized and the mechanism should not be considered functional.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe second is a \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cspan\u003ecamouflaged wheeled artillery piece\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cspan\u003e fitted with tires, trail, and operating lever.
