Only One Available. This is an extremely scarce bayonet produced for the Finnish Army and Civil Guard. According to Kiesling, the Civil Guard ordered 10,000 bayonets in 1941, most were scrapped in the 1970's. This example comes with its\u003cstrong\u003e SK.Y\u003c\/strong\u003e marked green leather scabbard of riveted and sewn construction.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe blade is clean, showing typical service use with a few very shallow nicks in the edge towards the base. The ricasso is stamped\u003cstrong\u003e SK.Y\u003c\/strong\u003e on one side and\u003cstrong\u003e O.Y. VELJEKSET KULMALAAB\u003c\/strong\u003e on the other.  The one piece grips show typical age and wear with much of the original varnish finish remaining. There is a good amount of verdigris on the metal fittings of the scabbard which has spread a bit onto the bayonet itself. The scabbard still retains its lower metal plate and belt loop.
