It is embossed with a central swas (hook cross), with a wreath around it bearing the motto \u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eGott mit uns\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e (God with us). It features a nice injection molded pebbled aluminum body with an aluminized paint finish, which has an aluminum medallion insignia molded into to the front. The buckle is in excellent condition, showing very little wear of any kind. There is no maker mark that we can see on the buckle.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe belt itself measures about 35 1\/2” when fully extended, and is really still in great shape, with the black finish well retained, showing little to no signs of use. It is marked \u003cstrong\u003e90\u003c\/strong\u003e on the buckle end, for 90m (35.4 inches), and still retains the leather tab with a double row of 7 holes for size adjustment, held on with the correct white stitching. The belt is marked on the adjustment tab with an SS manufacture code:\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"text-align: center;\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e((VA)) 401\/43 ((ᛋᛋ))\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe presence of the ᛋᛋ doppelte Siegrune of the SS would usually indicate that these were intended for use with the Waffen SS, or possibly one of the Police units, as they were overseen by the SS.
