The long 45\" barrel bears the Continental Belgian \u003cstrong\u003eE \/ L G\/ * In an oval\u003c\/strong\u003e  Liège proof mark and the fusil is 62\" in overall length. The forward 8\" of the stock has been replaced long ago.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-weight: 400;\"\u003eThe Flintlock Lock Plate is engraved in script with \u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eGoldenstern \/ London\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e, however the Fusil is made completely in the FRENCH style Circa 1810. We were not able to find much on this maker, so it is possible that they are just the retailer, purchasing Belgian-Made weapons for the British market. Lock functions well, but does not hold at half cock.
