The unit has not been electrically tested, so no claim is made regarding present functionality.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe PNV-57, also encountered under the transliteration PNW-57, was a Soviet-designed active infrared night-vision system developed primarily for armored vehicle crews and later produced or used by several Eastern Bloc nations. There is a warning label attached to the interior lid. The transit chest measures 16 ¾ x 8 x 8 ½” when closed and retains the canvas carrying strap though it appears weak, so please do not use it.
