It appears to be a conversion from Flintlock when it may well have been a smooth bore musket, or constructed as such with older Flintlock parts. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe front barrel band is iron, while the trigger guard, butt plate, and side plate are brass. The original \"V\" back sight is unfortunately absent, but it does come with its original iron ram rod with its characteristic loaf shaped tip. The rear sling swivel is also missing, and the lock does not always hold at half-cock.
