The pistol still retains some of its original black painted finish, a wartime expedient factory finish which was both inexpensive and durable. The side of the barrel and receiver are both stamped with serial number 148188. This example comes with its original WWII holster with the original carrying strap. The holster is dated \u003cstrong\u003e1943 \u003c\/strong\u003eon the belt loop. The pistol appears to be fully functional, with no mechanical issues.
