Measuring approximately \u003cb\u003e7 ½ inches long\u003c\/b\u003e, this is a well-preserved example of the sporting and firearm accessories exported in large quantities from Sheffield during the mid-19th century.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003eJames Dixon \u0026amp; Sons of Sheffield\u003c\/b\u003e was one of the major British manufacturers of metalwares and shooting accessories during the 19th century.
