Original Item: Only One Available. Just one look will convince you that this is just about the most attractive ORIGINAL late 18th or early 19th BRONZE Ship's Model Howitzer, which comes with its original wooden carriage with Brass/Bronze wheels that would not create a spark.
The Bore is 1/2" and the tube length is 7". It is engraved on the top with a "stand of arms" somewhat now worn. The model is just 9" in overall length but is very substantial and HEAVY. There is nothing more to say but that this is by far the most impressive and oldest original Ship Bronze Cannon model we've ever seen. It even has the correct Nelson era elevating system of a wooden wedge to higher or lower the Cannon Barrel's trajectory to near or distant targets.

These antique guns are not sold in "live" condition. They are sold as collector's items or as "wall hangers". Any attempt at restoring an antique gun to be operational is strongly discouraged and is done so at the risk of the customer.
