From an old English Collection here is an early, circa 1755-1760 Regimental Priming powder horn marked with a large \u003cstrong\u003eCROWN over 45\u003c\/strong\u003e. The 45th Regiment of Foot was raise in 1741 under Colonel Warburton. They took part in the Siege of LOUISBOURG in 1758 and the Battle of the Plains of Abraham at QUEBEC in 1759. The remained in Canada for 20 years then took part in the American Revolutionary War 1776 - 1783.
