This example retains much of its original gilt finish and is actually stamped on the interior with the officer’s information as well as written on the paper.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe capsule retains the original paper record for the officer, which lists his Truppen or troop (unit) as \u003cstrong\u003eI.R. 61\u003c\/strong\u003e, indicating service with the 61st Austrian Regiment of Infantry. His name is \u003cstrong\u003eFranz Toifl,\u003c\/strong\u003e and his rank is Lieutenant. He was born in \u003cstrong\u003e1889 \u003c\/strong\u003eand first enlisted in the military in \u003cstrong\u003e1911\u003c\/strong\u003e, at the age of 22. He appears to be from \u003cstrong\u003eWien\u003c\/strong\u003e, otherwise known as Vienna, Austria.
