As the name implies it is quite heavy and large, measuring about 5 inches tall and 2 3\/4 inches across at the widest point. It features a standard fragmentation pattern on the body.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis example features the \"Jam Top\" design, which has a top cap that attaches much like the lids of early jars of Jam. Attached to this is a typical early type \"wick\" fuse with the protective covering still intact. These were relatively primitive, where the soldier had to light the fuze and then throw the grenade.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis is only the second example of this type that we have seen, and it is in great shape, with lots of the original exterior finish, and only a bit of rust on the fuze area.
