This is a totally inert BATF approved example of the seldom-seem Argentinian issue FM 1 Offensive Hand grenade, offered in very good condition. These were developed immediately following WWII in 1945, and these were in production 1945-1965. They were designed and built by the Argentine company DGFM, and remained in use until 1970.  \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe function of the fuze mechanism in this offensive grenade is the same as in the British No. 36 Mills, but is a bit more simplified. Both utilize a large spring for actuation, which throws the \"spoon\" quite some distance.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn fine condition, the sheet metal body is undented with the paint showing moderate handling wear. The grenade bottom still unscrews, so that the internal structure can be viewed.
